What does an on/off cycle mean?

PeptideWiz repeats the pattern automatically so your due dates follow the cycle without manual re-entry. Any decision to cycle an item, and the specific on/off lengths, should come from your provider.
How do I set up a cycle in PeptideWiz?
When creating or editing an item's schedule, choose a custom cycle and enter the number of on days and off days. PeptideWiz then generates due dates that repeat that pattern going forward. You can adjust the on/off lengths later if your provider-directed plan changes.
What is the difference between a cycle and a regular schedule?
A regular schedule such as daily or every other day repeats at a fixed interval indefinitely, while a cycle alternates between an active "on" block and a rest "off" block. Cycles are useful when a plan calls for planned breaks. PeptideWiz treats a cycle as one of the schedule options you can pick per item.
Do off days count against my adherence?
No. During "off" days the item is not due, so those days are not counted as missed and do not lower your adherence. PeptideWiz only evaluates adherence on days a dose was actually scheduled. This keeps planned breaks from distorting your percentage.
Can I pause or reset a cycle?
Yes. You can edit the item to change the on/off lengths, restart the cycle, or switch to a different schedule type entirely. PeptideWiz recalculates upcoming due dates from your changes. As always, timing and breaks should follow your provider-directed plan rather than the app's defaults.
