Peptide Unit Converter
Convert the units you actually meet on a vial and a syringe — micrograms, milligrams and grams; millilitres and insulin-syringe units; and mg/mL to mcg/mL concentrations. Type a value and every equivalent updates instantly. Need the syringe draw for a full protocol? Use the dosage calculator.

How the conversions work
Mass steps by factors of 1,000: 1 g = 1,000 mg, 1 mg = 1,000 mcg, and 1 mcg = 1,000 ng. Vials are usually labelled in mg while doses are often written in mcg, which is why mg → mcg is the conversion people reach for most.
Volume to units depends on the syringe standard. A U-100 insulin syringe holds 100 units per millilitre, so millilitres × 100 = units (0.2 mL = 20 units). U-40 syringes hold 40 units per millilitre.
Concentration uses the same 1,000× step as mass: 1 mg/mL = 1,000 mcg/mL. Once you know the concentration after reconstitution, the dosage calculator turns a target dose into the exact draw.
Frequently asked questions
How many mcg is 0.5 mg?
500 mcg. Multiply mg by 1,000 to get mcg, so 0.5 × 1,000 = 500 mcg. Going the other way, divide mcg by 1,000 to get mg.
What does "units" mean on an insulin syringe?
The units are volume markings, not a measure of the drug itself. On the standard U-100 syringe there are 100 evenly spaced units per millilitre, which makes small reconstituted volumes easy to read. See syringe units.
Is mcg the same as µg or ug?
Yes — mcg, µg and "ug" all mean micrograms. "mcg" is preferred on labels because it avoids the Greek "µ" being misread.
Can the app do this for me?
Yes. The PeptideWiz app stores each item's vial amount, water, and dose, converts units for you, and logs every administration so your schedule, inventory, and reminders stay in one place.
