In PeptideWiz, a dose is simply the amount of an item recorded for a single scheduled administration in your administration log. It is a tracking value you enter, not a recommendation from the app. What amount to record is directed by you and your provider; PeptideWiz only helps you keep the record.
What is the difference between a dose and a concentration?
A dose is the amount of peptide for one administration (for example, 0.25 mg), while concentration is how much peptide is in each mL of liquid (for example, 2.5 mg/mL). You use both together to work out the volume to draw. These are arithmetic concepts offered for general education, not medical guidance.
How do I convert a dose in mg to a volume in mL?
Divide the dose by the concentration: volume (mL) = dose (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL). For example, a 0.5 mg dose at a concentration of 2.5 mg/mL is 0.5 ÷ 2.5 = 0.2 mL. The PeptideWiz calculator performs this example math for you and does not suggest a dose.
Does PeptideWiz recommend a dose for me?
