Reconstitution

Mixing a freeze-dried (lyophilized) peptide with a sterile liquid to prepare it for use.

Reconstitution is the process of dissolving a lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide in a sterile liquid, most commonly bacteriostatic water, so it can be measured and administered. The resulting concentration depends on how much peptide is in the vial and how much liquid is added.

PeptideWiz includes a reconstitution calculator that turns those inputs into a syringe-unit measurement so your records are consistent. This is a math and record-keeping aid only — not medical guidance.
