Reminder

A local device notification for a due dose, refill, or expiration.

A reminder is a notification scheduled on your device for a due dose, an upcoming refill, or an approaching expiration. Because reminders are local to the device, no external push server is involved.

Enable reminders from Today → Sync Reminders and allow notifications for PeptideWiz in your device settings. Timing is configured per item.

Not medical advice. PeptideWiz is a tracking and organization tool. These definitions are general education only — not medical advice, a recommendation, or instructions for use. Always work with a licensed medical provider.

Frequently asked questions

What is a reminder in PeptideWiz?

A reminder is a local device notification that alerts you when a dose is due, or when an item needs a refill or is nearing expiration. Reminders are generated from your schedule and delivered on your iPhone. They are on-device notifications, not medical advice about whether to take anything.

Why aren't my reminders showing up?

First make sure notifications are enabled for PeptideWiz in iOS Settings under Notifications, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not silencing them. Also confirm the item has an active schedule and that its reminder is turned on. Because reminders are on-device, they will not fire if notifications are blocked at the system level.

Are PeptideWiz reminders stored on my device or in the cloud?

Reminders are scheduled locally on your iPhone as on-device notifications, so they work without a constant internet connection. This also means they are tied to the specific device where they were set. If you get a new phone, you may need to re-enable notifications in iOS Settings so reminders continue to fire.

Can I get reminders for refills and expiration, not just doses?

Yes. Besides due-dose alerts, PeptideWiz can remind you when your inventory is running low for a refill or when a vial is approaching its expiration. These help you avoid running out or using an expired item. Make sure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings so all reminder types can appear.

How do I turn off or change a reminder time?

Open the item in PeptideWiz and edit its reminder settings to change the time, snooze behavior, or turn it off entirely. Adjusting the reminder does not change the underlying schedule or your dose logs. Remember that timing should follow your provider-directed plan; the reminder is just a convenience notification.
